Sometimes my ankle buckles
And I stumble
My eyes get weary and my head aches
But my Lord who is God never forsakes
Sometimes I am intoxicated by the world
Temporary happiness, life is a whirl
Deceptions and illusions
Crows instead of doves
Thank God for forgiveness and life from above
Sometimes I don’t care
Life hurts and situations are never fair
Yet the Lord would never let me go there
To the fire, the pit, the house of the evil one
God has forgiven me and has declared
The war is won
