“The Revolution (Starts In The Mind)” a song by Natty Barjon describes the nature of grassroots activism in the 21st Century. The song calls for organization and determination via sticking to “the plan”. In a time of utter chaos this song calls for united organized action against oppressors. Natty Barjon released this wonderful single ahead of his new album “Meek EP II” set to be released on April 2 2021. It is said that this may be the start to a series of continued “Meek” EP projects with musical peer Khalid.
Charles J. Barjon II musically known as "Natty Barjon" is a living artist and activist spreading the message of Freedom, Justice, and Equality through his livity and music. Mr. Barjon, is a student of history at Southern University A&M College where he is president of the grassroots organization the SU 771 Alliance.
