Heavy is the head that bears the crown

So heavy are the shoulders of the rock thereof

The pain of life only felt by doves

Heavy is the soul that holds us all

So heavy is the ear that listens to all

Life sweet life oh where art thou?

Life sweet life oh from whence have thou come?

The rock of my forest has only just begun

The praises it sings, the pain it brings

Heavy is the head that bears the crown

So heavy are the shoulders of the rock thereof

Like dew placed upon the broken wings of the weightless dove

Heavy is the truth coming from above
