You can’t see this with your eyes

You can’t feel this emotion with your heart

You can try to empathize

But my pain runs deep

Four hundred years of judgments

Mental genocide and executions

You can’t pray enough to silence

The thoughts in the mind of a revolutionary

You can’t touch the intangible

Hatred I feel everyday

You can’t see this with your eyes

You can’t feel this emotion with your heart

You can try to empathize

Yet your fingers are crossed

All of the lives lost

It’s my gain and your loss

You can’t nail my movement to a cross
