Let me show you all the black lives that aren’t there
Children scarred and scared
Living a life that just isn’t fair
Now that I got your attention now that you care
See all children who aren’t there
Gunned down while reciting their ABC
Is this the reality I really see
Now that I have your attention
Can you admit to your detention
Lives are gone let’s not mention
The children of the world who haven’t been mentioned
Now that I have your attention not that you care
I have one question
Why weren’t you there?
