There’s a war raging under my skin

How can I face this sin

I can’t let society win

Stripping me away from

The people I love

Forcing my eyes shut

There a war raging under this nation

How can we teach our children

To stay away from the hatred

I can’t let these devils win

Stripping our youth from the joy of life

The people they love filled with strife

There’s a war raging in this life
