Love is my religion but hate is my creed
I can give all I have and you still need
Hate is my creed
It was written in my deed
Love is what I crave
So love is what I gave
Yet hate was etched in my will
Forced in my body like a pill
Now it’s grinding slow and still
Like the old slave mill
Love is my religion but
Hate is your philosophy
Put all the trouble in Selassie
A life a love with endless boundaries
Lives of Hate has you cast in a foundry
